Point, Shoot and Translate Into English

The New York Times ran this article on IBM's Infoscope(free registration needed), a handheld devises that translates languages through the Internet. What’s really nice is that the device has a camera so you just point it at text and it will translate. This looks like a combination of alphaWorks Machine Translator and Pervasive Computing.
