Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) has rewarded a security expert who has located a second flaw in the network. Security experts like Nir Goldshlager have been especially concerned about hackers targeting Facebook in recent months. Goldshlager, who found one bug on the social media network about three weeks ago, discovered a second flaw this week which allowed him to hack the social network a second time.

Goldshlager published a blog about the second flaw. He said even if the Facebook user has never enabled any apps to run in their account, he was able to get full access to the user’s account using “Facebook Messenger app_id.”

MarketWatch reports that Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) rewarded Goldshlager for both of the flaws he found. The amount of the reward has not been disclosed. Both the recent flaw uncovered by him and the previous flaw have been fixed. A spokesperson for Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) told MarketWatch that the second bug he found was “very similar” to the first one, so it was easy to fix. The spokesperson also said more than 200 researchers have been rewarded for finding vulnerabilities in Facebook’s network. Goldshlager has apparently shown “multiple vulnerabilities” to the social media network in the past. The spokesperson said the social media network likes to reward those who help them keep the network secure for its users.
