Ever had that feeling that your current OS needs something extra, like the faults taking out of it :o) Ever wanted to try something new and just either didn't know there was alternatives or just couldn't face that new learning curve, something a little different. Hate M$ with a passion ? Yeah me too, but what options do you have, well until now there was Unix or Linux in one form or another but it did require you to know something about them to install them and run them. The GUI is an integral part of any OS for the newbie or indeed old hat, it lets you visually see what is what and get to grips with it in a way you can understand more easily. Hence the M$ domination over the market, that and its marketing ploy tactics of 'superiority' in its own products, something that only M$ believes, the real world knows otherwise. Something that is as flawed as M$ does indeed need a right old kick up the Khyber, (cockney rhyming slang- Khyber pass), at last there is something to come along and show bill gates, the world is indeed fighting back. So here it is, ladies and gentlemen, Lindows.
