reaper: Sweet Glad someone is setting the bar higher

An Illinois company that has shipped Linux preloaded on PCs since 1998 now offers a choice of four Linux distributions on Apple machines, the company has announced.

QliTech Linux Computers will ship Apple notebook and desktop systems with SuSE PPC, Mandrake PPC, Debian PPC, or Gentoo PPC configured to dual boot with OS-X, says QliTech's Ray Sanders.

"Some of our local customers have asked about it, and I've noticed there's a growing populace that wants Apple hardware with Linux on it," Sanders said. "There is a market for it -- a lot of people like Apple hardware."
