Issue #15
We're back and we've got a pretty well stocked issue rounded up for everyone. My holiday in France and Europe, if you haven't already heard was a blast, but it was kind of crappy to come back home to a house that had been broken into. Eitherways, what's done has been done, and the loss was quite minimal in retrospect.
So what has happened since the last Issue (apart from break ins)? Well we've put in the Printer Friendly and E-mail to Friend features (the little printer and mail icon next to each comment thread) for each story, so you can now grab yourself a hard copy of any articles you find interesting or alert your friends on something seen here that they might want to read about. Apart from those two upgrades, we've also added in the latest comments, member listing and zine archive bits. You'll need to be running the Default Theme to see these new links, although I'll be making the changes to the other themes soon enough. I'm currently working on a Lite version of HITB (a version that won't have all the fancy schmancy tables and graphics) mainly due to a request from torc, a Psion user who says it takes a little too long to load the default site on his device. Stay tuned for that one.
Apart from the upgrades and such, we've got a couple of new "guest writers" for this Issue and a new member as well - unfrgvnme which I'd like to welcome on board. I apologize for not getting an article out in time for this Issue - real world commitments have pretty much taken up most of my time. I was going to do an introduction to MySQL and it will be ready in time for Issue #16. As always, drop us a line if you'd like to write for us or have a comment about the site. See you guys next month.
