iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak cracks open iPhone 7, iPad Pro

A new jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 has been released in beta form.

“Yalu” is the first jailbreak to support the iPhone 7 and you can get your hands on it now, but users are advised to wait for more stable releases.

The jailbreak was developed by Luca Todesco, who has made a name for himself by cracking iOS firmware, and Ian Beer. It will eventually support all iOS devices running iOS 10.1.1, but for now, it’s only compatible with iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, and iPad Pro. Yalu actually made its debut about a week ago, but until the latest release, it did not support Cydia — the very thing the vast majority of people jailbreak for.
