The Hacker ReYn0 got arrested
ReYn0 hit the news little time ago when he hacked 10 servers (American and French) belonging to governmental institutions. The scope was, as declared by the same Reyno, to distribute awareness about the vulnerability of State infrastructures without having the intention of destroying them.
ReYn0 was arrested last Thursday in Montpellier, France by O.C.L.C.T.I.C. (geeez...let me take a breath) police officers who seized two computers. After an initial 24 hours Police custody, ReYno was led to the prison of Montpellier where he remained 5 days there before being heard by a judge. He was charged of "Fraudulent computer system access - Tentative of fraudulent access in an automated data processing system - Modification of data resulting from the fraudulent access - Fraudulent use of informatic system to reach and deteriorate Internet servers in particular in the fields of public institutions (.gouv.fr.) "
ReYno was later released under parole.
