GeoHot Planning To Enter Windows Phone 7 Jailbreak Scene
The popular iPhone and PlayStation 3 hacker GeoHot has finally decided to enter the Windows Phone 7 jailbreaking scene after finding out that the Windows Phone 7 team has a more amicable attitude towards hackers unlike Apple and Sony. GeoHot has updated his blog saying the following:
"perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers. I’m going out to buy a Windows 7 phone"
Just a few months back hackers Rafael Rivera, Long Zheng, and Chris Walsh ended up developing the ChevronWP7tool, which allowed users to jailbreak and unlock Windows Phone 7 for application side-loading without havign to pay $99 per year for a WP7 marketplace account.
