The creators of the Rolodex bring to us their entry into the world of handheld computing. The eBookMan, which resembles your standard Palm or Handspring, but with a larger screen, allows you to read books, listen to audio, and organize your day. So, is it a contender in the PDA wars? You'll have to read on to find out. Here's a clip:

"Franklin, as mentioned above are the leaders in organizing people lives with those trusty organizers for those of us who can?t remember from one day to the next. So with the growth of the handheld market continuing strong and hard, they?ve come out with the eBookman.

The eBookMan might look strangely familiar to those of us who already own a Palm Pilot. The operating system for the eBookMan is a custom OS that smells like a slightly modified version of the PalmOS, but do not be fooled, this unit is unique its own way. As listed on the site the OS is the eBookMan Operating System 1.0."
