Cisco has released three security updates to address a number of flaws in its products.

The company said that the update would apply to customers running the ASA 5500 security appliances as well as firms which use the Application Control Engine platform and the AnyConnect Mobility Client.

According to Cisco, the various flaws carry risks ranging from denial-of service to data disclosure and remote code execution vulnerabilities. Among the advisories is an update for the ASA 5500 and Catalyst 6500 Series security appliances. The company said that the update will patch a security flaw which could potentially allow an attacker to bring the appliances down with a denial of service attack.
