Check Point launches firewall for PDAs, pocket-PCs

Israeli Internet security firm Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) on Thursday launched a line of new products that will protect wireless Web surfing using handheld computers.

Check Point said in a statement it worked on its new line, which includes a personal firewall, along with Microsoft (MSFT), Intel (INTC), Hewlett Packard (HWP), Compaq (CPQ) and others. Check Point unveiled the line at the CeBIT conference in Hanover, Germany.
