Amino Communications has taken the wraps off its Network Diversity technology, which it says will allow sensitive information to be transmitted securely over the Internet without encrypting the data.

The company claims that its technology does not require cryptography but instead breaks up data into fragments smaller than characters or symbols and then sends them over different networks to ensure that the data arrives intact and without having being eavesdropped. It adds that the technology will prevent piracy and fraud, yet requires very little system resources or faster data transmission than unprotected data.
