This is a MIPS based chip that has an ability to run at 500Mhz while only user 900 miliwatts of power. At 400Mhz it only uses 500 miliwatts. This is great news for all you PDA lovers. The current MSRP for this chip is ONLY US$40. This is priced well below the current chips that run at or around 400Mhz. Products using this chip will be available in the 4th quarter of 01.
