Al Arabiya Facebook page hijacked by "Syria's Electronic Army"
Hackers from a group calling itself "Syria's Electronic Army" seized the English-language Facebook page of Saudi owned television news channel Al Arabiya and defaced it.
The group uploaded its own banner artwork and made a fake news posting about ongoing events in Syria. The hackers also criticised Al Arabiya TV and accused the channel of involvement in “the destruction of Egypt and Libya” of working “day and night to broadcast venomous, brotherhood, Zionist, thoughts, in Egypt and the Arab world” and are paving the way for “NATO's occupation of Libya and its wealth”.
