IT security company Secunia has decided to discontinue its Secunia Vulnerability Coordination Reward Program (SVCRP).

According to the company, the SVCRP has helped a large number of companies and researchers over the past two years. However, the program doesn’t seem to be profitable for Secunia.

“Our decision to discontinue the program after all, is because Secunia, as a commercial organization, must assess our initiatives continuously,” Kasper Lindgaard, head of research at Secunia, wrote in a blog post.
