The Enterprise Mobility and Security blog posted the first of a new series of informational articles that will be delving deeper into the new conditional feature.

In a ‘mobile first’ world, people are constantly using devices on the go which can make controlling high-risk access difficult. In fact, more than 60 percent of data breaches and cyber attacks are due to user credentials that were easily hacked or stolen. Some people even leave their password as default. The goal with adding conditional access to essentially shut the door when it comes to the many multiple devices that users work with.

You can manage which user accounts will have access to your company’s valuable information by toggling options such as location, what kind of device, and what applications are installed. As an administrator, you can assess an overall risk and set restrictions for high-risk scenarios.
