Career criminal Holland in court bid to contest his media gag

CONVICTED drug dealer Patrick 'Dutchy' Holland will today go to the High Court in a bid to be allowed to write to journalists.

Career criminal Holland (60) who is serving a 12-year sentence for drug dealing is seeking an order quashing a decision made last year refusing him the right to communicate with the media.
Holland, also known as 'The Wig', will represent himself in the action, claiming that he is entitled to communicate with the media under Article 40.3 of the Constitution, which guarantees to defend and vindicate the personal right of citizens.
