Islamic hackers to target airline website

posted onNovember 14, 2006

slamic hackers are targeting the internet website of Morocco's aircarrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM), after it reportedly prohibited workers from praying within the company's premises during working hours and banned the veil for its female employees. Internet messages posted on Islamic fundamentalist websites called for an attack on the website of the airline (www.royalairmaroc.com/). The messages follows a similar threat by extremist Islamic websites last week to hack into the website of the Vatican.

The message calling on all Islamist hackers to carry out a 'virtual jihad' said that "the unfaithful Moroccan airline has violated some precepts dictated by our Prophet banning the veil and prayers in the office."
