What should you do? The Padlock Fix involves an update to the GroupWise server and
GroupWise client. Apply the GroupWise Server Padlock Fix to your servers first. Your site
is now secure. To reestablish optimum performance characteristics, apply the GroupWise
Client Padlock Fix.
- Administrators: Follow the instructions to download the
Server Padlock Fix and update the servers and workstations in your environment. The Server
Padlock Fix contains all of the modules for updating servers and clients within your
environment. - GroupWise Users: Download the Client Padlock Fix and follow the instructions.
GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement Pack Users who would like to take this opportunity to update
your entire client or server can download GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement Pack SP3a, which

Please note that SP3a is a complete support pack download, which is larger. The Padlock
Fix at the top of this page is smaller and is sufficient for GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement
Pack SP2, SP3, and GroupWise 6 users.
Who is NOT affected: GroupWise 4.x, 5.0, 5.2, and 5.5 customers do not need to apply
the Padlock Fix. If you are not sure, follow the instructions to determine your version or
download the Update and it will check your version for you.
