Hacker collective Anonymous has declared "war is unleashed" against ISIS, the Islamic militant group that claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks that occurred Friday in Paris.
ISIS has used the Internet to recruit new members from around the world and to spread chilling images of executions and other violence.
Some say the Anonymous hacktivist movement was among the most influential entities of 2012. Others, on the other hand, say that it will decline during 2013. However, in the latest video they have released, the hackers say we should expect them in 2013.
The video highlights Anonymous’ main operations from 2012, showing their involvement in many situations, including the conflict in Syria, the Newtown shooting, the Megaupload takedown, and their influence in the matters concerning the controversial Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA).
