Voodoo 4 & 5 at Anand's house

: "Beta Voodoo 4 & 5 silicon came over to Anand's house for
a little fun recently, and he's detailed
his experiences in 27 riveting pages of adventure. He's as
thorough as ever, and I think he's sending a shout out to 3dfx.
Wake up! You can check the review out for yourself, but from the
looks of it, the Voodoo4 plays second fiddle to a SDR GeForce
(d'oh!), and the V5 has only a small lead on the DDRs. Now let
me make it clear that I'm not interested in the pro-/anti-whoever
debates in the 3D community. I just want to see technology advance,
and advance fast. I'd also like to see the barrage of product
releases give way to some real innovation. We actually just recently
received our NVidia GeForce 2 GTS, so we'll be putting it through
its paces. The NDA lifts on Wednesday, and everyone and their
mother will probably be posting a review then. But not us. No
wine before it's time--look for it early next week after we get
to spend some quality family time with it."
