You may have noticed that internet surfing has been a bit slower than usual these few days. Check out this piece of interesting news I read from CNN - an underwater cable going from China to the US had been cut, forcing some of the internet companies to redirect traffic through the use of satellites. Countries affected are China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. We'll have to wait for 10 days at least before it is repaired. Check out the full story over here.

I heard about this...
This was what Jooz was going on about the other day when the site was inaccessible... I kept thinking it was one of those bloody DoS attacks we've been plagued with, bonghittr was equally pissed *grin* ... well good thing its just a cable and things are back to normal now :)
