Powerline net access

News.com
reports
that one company at least thinks it'll be able to roll out trials
of their high speed 'net access over power lines this summer.
The tone of the article is rather skeptical. Assuming that it
works at all, the bit that I'd be curious about is whether this
tech, like DSL and cable modems, has geographical requirements.
Or will people not living in close proximity to a major metropolitan
area find themselves left out yet again?
