When it comes to John McAfee, nothing's ever easy.

The antivirus software pioneer and Internet security mogul – pick whichever common description of McAfee you prefer – may or may not still be hiding out in Belize at the moment, depending on which news source you believe.

Authorities have tagged McAfee as a "person of interest" in the murder of Gregory Viant Faull, a Florida businessman who lived on the same Caribbean island as McAfee and who was killed a week or so after four of McAfee's eleven dogs were fatally poisoned in early November. According to a post on McAfee's personal blog yesterday, the Silicon Valley icon was allegedly captured at the border of Belize and Mexico by authorities. However, new research into the validity of the unconfirmed report seems to indicate that McAfee, in fact, has not been captured just yet.
