Cisco releases Wireless Networking Product

Cisco Systems is now shipping its Aironet 350 Series 802.11b-compliant wireless networking products. You can get 2 different cards for you laptop or a PCI card for you desktop. They use the Radius security protocol instead of a 40-bit encryption algorithm, which will make it a bit more secure. Taking into consideration that this IS a Cisco product, it's probrably going to cost you an arm and a leg to get it. Read more here.

Cisco actually bought out the company AeroNet I believe and is now shipping their product w/ the Cisco label on it. Had it demoed for us and actually going to be implemented in the next couple months. Only downfall about the wireless bridge is cost and line of site.
