Arbor Networks acquires local security analytics outfit Packetloop
US cyber security firm Arbor Networks has acquired Australian security analytics outfit Packetloop for an undisclosed amount.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, Arbor Networks said in a statement that it intends to both invest and expand the Packetloop’s Sydney operations.
The deal also means that Packetloop’s security analytics offering will also now be offered as part of Arbor’s suite of network security solutions. “The Packetloop technology and people are a great addition to the Arbor team,” Arbor Networks president Colin Doherty said in a statement.
