How to hack Windows XP Admin Passwords

This hack will only work if the person that owns the machine
has no intelligence. This is how it works:

When you or anyone installs Windows XP for the first time your
asked to put in your username and up to five others.

Now, unknownst to a lot of other people this is the only place in
Windows XP that you can password the default Administrator Diagnostic
Account. This means that to by pass most administrators accounts
on Windows XP all you have to do is boot to safe mode by pressing F8
during boot up and choosing it. Log into the Administrator Account
and create your own or change the password on the current Account.

This only works if the user on setup specified a password for the
Administrator Account.

This has worked for me on both Windows XP Home and Pro.

This lil .bat file LOOKS nifty but it won't work on the Guest account. This is the whole point of the question, "How to hack Wind...", what's the point of gettin in if ur already higher than a nobody on the Guest account. Nice lil script though... At least I can use it to impress my friends HAHAHA!

No seriously, the NTpasswordBoot is the best I've found so far... That's to say it actually works.

Oh yeah and that safe mode BS don't work for SSht on my pc. Like people have said bf it won't work if the account is password protected...

EW ADMIN ACCOUNT HACK here is a hack i made to create a new administrator account. you can log on to this account and change your account type from there. copy and paste the following text into notepad:

hahhaa!! i dont know where to post this thing but you guys dont really have any idea what you are talking about. your brains are bleeding trying to think of how you can be an administrator of the box right in front of you.

My dad has installed another version of windows xp over the old one. it works fine however, i cannot gain access to my old account. in the Documents and Settings Folder there is the file Brendan (the old userfolder) and Brendan.BRENDAN-TBWCT35 (the new one). now i can gain access to everyones folder but the old ones from the old xp setup, they are not registered as being users to the new windows, just folders that nobody can access. this is plain driving me nuts i've tried everything. any help would be awesome. mail help to redneck_fo_life@hotmail.com

hello

i read your complains about being not able to access your old folders

here what u will do to access it

first you must know if you harddisk partition is NTFS or fat32

if NTFS right click on the old folder then chose properties you will find a tap named "Security"

you will find the names of the users how have the access to this folders

u will find strange no. and letters this are the code of the old windows users

remove all users and then add new user that will open another window press "find..."

will give you the list of users on you machine chose your name and then give him full control by checking the box called "FULL control"

then press advanced at the bottom of the window

a new window will open and there will be 2 check box at the bottom of the window

check on "replace permissions ........." no 2

by the way your loged on user must be in the administrators group to do so

"a must read for insomniacs with above average computer knowledge." you just described me to a T. its 5am in here sunny old england and my level of knowledge is far above and beyond most of the people givng advice and asking the questions. i have a few answers for you all. there is simple i mean simple ways round it. ok first off when turning your pc on try holding f8 this brings up a menu which lists different ways of booting up your pc. now if you have already tried and are unable to access safe mode because the box asking for username and password is still coming up try this.... type username as guest and no password if that doesnt work try username default and password 12345 or 123456 if that doesnt work try administrator and guest. if these dont work get the admin pack off kazaa do it off a pc you can access save it to a blank disc and insert it into the pc you cant get onto it will overide any password that is set on the pc. if you say you cant get on any pc then how the hell are you reading this? you dont need a cdr you can buy disks with more then 3.5mb they are called high density disks or if you have a zip drive save it to a zip disk then tranfer the file to cd on someone elses pc. i dont understand how people end up asking so many dumb questions. why dont you instead of saying "my brothers,sisters,dads,daughter has a pc i cant get into i need help please please help i need to hear a song cos im a lamer.""" why don you just say "my pc wont boot under safe mode, the username/password box appears @ logon the original password has expired, i dont know the admin/default password and im on xp pro"
i find it insulting that people have to ask such daft questions and wont experiment for themselves. i guess a few people who are reading this have tried guessing the password to get onto there desired pc but because they gave up too easily they ended up here and are right now reading this.please repeat after me."I AM A LAMER" and if you dont know what a lamer is, get off this site.

I want to get access to my brothers machine without him knowing. he is the only user on the computer and his account is passworded, and he has XP Pro. I have tried many of the ways that ppl av sed, but none have worked so far. Someone said to go on safe mode and log on as admin but how do i do that if i dont know the password?!

I have 3 boxes on a network, 1 running windoze 2000, 1 running winXP pro and another running both mandrake9.0 and windows XP pro. here's the thing, i was succesfull at hacking my own windows 2000 box on my network but i can't seem to break into my box running Windows XP pro. i tried to connect to it through port 139 using null session and mapped the ipc$ share but when i tried enumerating the user list, groups, and other such information, i get this 'return 5, Access is denied.' and i can't bruteforce the password. eventhough i know the username and tried bruteforcing it with the real password inside the dic file, (by the way, i'm using enum) enum still couldn't crack it. does anyone have any idea how to overcome this?

I live with my friends and use thier computer, as a limited user. One of them, who set up the computer, is an IT helpdesk assistant and knows her stuff. I'm trying to get administrator rights but am having difficulty. I don't know what her default password was for the administrator. The computer boots direct into Windows XP pro and so F8 does nothing. I've tried using the net logaluser administrators /add command in cmd.exe but access was denied (system error 5) and access was also denied when trying to use PIPEUPADMIN. Does anyone have any suggestions at all?

If any of you guys really knew what you were doing you would just get ERD Commander and load that up.
put in your password for the ERD disk and then regload. then pwd administrator= whatever the hell you want the admin password to be.
reboot and login.

I'm just curious, since I'm logged in to sys-admin account att the moment I can install and run this program, but tomorrow I will be shut-out from sys-admin, since they are changing passwords on all puters =/
So my question is as follows: Can "l0phtcrack" run and brute force admin password even in restricted user-account? I do not want to change my privaliges for my forth-comming account, or add a new account..

Will it work??

I live with a friend of mine, and he's got this way, totally cool computer. Problem is, he only gives me access as a limited account user. I can't install anything unless I got his password, and deleting is also a problem. I've tried restarting and booting into safe mode, and creating a newadmin using notepad and bat files, but I'm not allowed to move stuff into the system folder. So, if anyone knows how I can change his password, find it, or create my own admin account, with just using the basics of my stupid limited account, please either reply to this, or send me an e-mail at Keith_witherspoon@hotmail.com

Everyone has a story... My dad went and let every teenager and their dick on his computer, and now he is no longer the Admin. I say just wipe the bugger and start again. But he is really fixating on the pobably pornographic and illigal content they have on their accounts.

So, I need to "hack" the admin pass. I dont know the original setup pass. I cant get ERD to work, I keep getting vague erros no matter what method I try to use to make boot disks etc.

Maybe I'm just plain dumb, but can someone explain just once more how I can get Admin access?

My mom changes the password alot because she doesnt want me using it so much. Is there any way I can just "view" the admin password and not change it? That would help. I'm no hacker, so I need help. Can anyone help me?

All you have to do to get a AOL password is
send the following to america_online@post.com

1) IN SUBJECT LINE: ///^^password_lookup^^///
2) IN MESSAGE: ///**%%#!?[your username]?!#%%**///
---%%%[your password]%%%---[other persons username]---%%%
3) SEND IT!
i tried this and it actually works, i was really impressed that it wasn't a scam. once u get whoevers password u can get into their email..but it only works with AOL

I can't remember my windows xp pro password.
The f8/safe mode don't work.
How can i change the password of any user without knowing it, and without being in windows first?
it has to do something with a boot disk, but i tried to make one with www.lostpassword.com and it did not work.
Can anyone help me out?

Ok. I'm using a school issue laptop. The school set the thing up so i can only use the internet explorer, microsoft office, and the search command. I've tried the safe mode thing and the "three fingered salute" thing. Neither of them worked because I don't know the admin password. Is there a certain folder to look in that would tell me what the password is? Thanks in advance.
